Roxy has lived in her home for almost 30 years. "We bought it as a 'fixer upper' when the kids were young. I'm proud of what we've done, but there's always been something that prevented us doing quite what we wanted with it - first helping the kids through uni and then helping them with their own kids. And then just not having enough time, of course."


Her husband Phil died three years ago, just at the time they were planning for their retirement, and Roxy feels that it is now time for her to move on. She has been looking at new homes in a new subdivision and is excited about the prospect of moving somewhere just for her - somewhere that will be "... light and sunny and much easier to clean and take care of." While she feels purchasing a new build is somewhat extravagant, she has worked hard all her life, putting her needs behind those of her family, and believes she deserves it.
